Our Story

Our Beginning

Founded in 1973 as Davis Documentary Service by Chief Davis Ihentuge. Due to speed and accuracy in typing, the business center became a household name. The business later expanded by the acquisition of a Nashua photocopying machine. This was later followed up with an Adana Hand printing machine. Both acquisitions were made possible through some benevolent loans later paid off with immense gratitude.

The vision continued to expand with more technology enhancements with the procurement of the all-purpose Heidelberg 10’x15’ Platen Letterpress Printing Machine. A Kord 64 Heidelberg Offset Press was added with an efficient management process.

Since incorporation in 1984, apart from commercial printing and publishing, we were accredited by the National Directorate for Employment to train young people in the printing trade. IhemDavis is proud to have trained more than 100 youth in printing and publishing technology.

Our expansion continued as we purchased and built a permanent factory built at Km 3, No. 34 MCC/Uratta Road, Owerri. The technology-driven Ihem Davis Press Ltd. subsequently commissioned a hi-tech Heidelberg SORS-Z double–color Press at the factory.

IhemDavis is committed to people and national development.

We have had our lull moments as a Nigerian business but now bouncing back. We believe in our goodwill, esteemed clients, well-wishers and the grace of God to bounce back and continue giving value as a print and brand design company
